BIM Manager - Revit Structure - Los Angeles & San Francisco

Nabih Youssef & Associates, a leading structural engineering consulting firm, has an immediate opening for BIM MANAGERS with expertise in Autodesk REVIT Structure for a full time position in the Los Angeles & San Francisco offices. Experience in the latest versions of Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD a must, certification in either will be a plus.

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on high-profile projects, must be team-oriented and meet the following requirements:
  • 5+ years of in-depth working knowledge, preferably in a BIM Management capacity, of current BIM/CAD software, mainly Autodesk Revit Structure, with emphasis on parametric family and object creation, model sharing, template formatting as well as model sharing and project sheet setup.
  • Must have production experience in structural and architectural design for buildings (residential & commercial), drafting or engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to use time productively and maximize efficiency.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D Studio, Rhino, Google Earth, MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook, web applications, FTP portals and database software.

BIM Support Specialist - New York

Our Client (an award winning global design house) is looking for a BIM Support Specialist with a minimum of 5 years Revit experience. You will be responsible for daily administration and execution of BIM (AutoDesk Revit) within their headquarters in New York, additionally supporting their offices in Asia and London as needed. Overall responsibilities include implementing and reinforcing the firm’s BIM approach, and you will be involved with the entire setup and optimizing of Revit on projects, standards, developing the model strategy for the team, consultant interaction, and all software modifications and maintenance.

Training users in the application and BIM / Firmwide best practices will be important, as well as monitoring and maintaining project standards throughout New York as well as our other international offices. Skills developing and deploying custom design tools for the application will be important.
