Rutherford and Chekene (R&C) is accepting applications for a BIM / Revit Professional with expertise in Autodesk REVIT Structure for a full time position. This individual will work directly with our engineering team to prepare structural drawings on a wide variety of projects.
Established in 1960, R&C is one of California's foremost engineering practices, offering structural and geotechnical engineering services to owners and architects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare clear, complete, and accurate structural drawings based upon verbal instructions and/or sketches provided by engineers;
- Interpret drawing markups and implement drawing revisions provided by engineers;
- Interact with engineers to assess their production needs and update them on the status of their requests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of in-depth working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Structure;
- Minimum 5 years experience using AutoCAD in a structural engineering environment (proficient in AutoCAD2010 or higher);
- High level of efficiency in MS Office Suite.
Personal Skills:
- Willing and able to communicate clearly with the design team engineer about the scope, level of effort, time available, budget available, and any special circumstances of the job at hand;
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Self-motivated, reliable, ambitious, personable and well organized.
