ZETA is seeking a Revit Architecture Design Technician to work with our building information modeling system to develop shop drawings for multifamily factory built modular projects. This position is located in our Sacramento area factory and will report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing. The position will also be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation with respect to information extracted from the Revit modeling system that will be utilized in accounting, manufacturing and costing systems.

Essential Functions

Create fabrication and assembly drawings from architectural drawings and details
Assure assembled systems are designed to comply with current building, plumbing and electrical codes
Assure assemblies meet designed structural requirements
Interact with manufacturing personnel to develop effective shop documentation

Qualifications

Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience with Revit Architecture in various aspects of the software
Full control of modeling tools
Full control of documentation tools
Moderate knowledge/experience of construction processes, means and methods
Moderate knowledge of building codes
Ability to understand and translate structural, M.E.P., and fire protection drawings
3-4 years’ work experience in architecture or related office

The following skills/experience are a plus

Revit M.E.P. experience
Revit Structure experience
Project work sharing experience
