Primary Responsibilities:
- Layout plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards working directly with engineers or project managers.
- Coordinate with design team members
- Communicate with design team/ clients and/or contractors regarding RFI’s and field questions
- Work with tight deadlines
- Provide assistance preparing proposals and required drafting fees
- Maintain awareness of fees and drafting time, understand project scope and identify potential additional service items
- Attend meetings for internal coordination
- Attend general meetings
- Minimum 5 years’ experience preparing Structural drawings
- Revit 3D and AutoCAD Proficiency
- Working knowledge of construction methods, plan reading and the preparation of construction documents
- Remain current with appropriate drafting software, technologies, and practices
- MS Word and Excel proficiency
- Strong math and geometry skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Structural CAD: 5 years
