VDC Project Manager - AECOM Hunt - Las Vegas - NV

AECOM Hunt – Central Region has a project in Las Vegas, NV

We have an immediate need of a VDC Project Manager to lead an onsite big room of subcontractors doing coordination for a project in Las Vegas. This leader will be and assigned to the field operations team and will assist in coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents using BIM tools, processes and workflows and keeping with the construction schedule. This leader will perform all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct.

  • To lead, manage and facilitate MEP coordination meetings in a big room environment
  • Primary point of contact, maintains working relationships with subcontractors and project team
  • Create accurate 3D models as needed for plan checking and drawing QA, field production, and work flow planning/management
  • Support project teams with the use of 3D generated site logistics and site phasing
  • Train project team members in the management and use of electronic construction information.
  • To perform other responsibilities/duties through personal initiative or as directed by management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Associates degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering plus 5 or more years of experience.
  • Must be computer savvy and can type and utilize keyboard functions to navigate multiple programs and screens quickly and accurately
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
  • Needs to be able to give clear, detailed directions
  • Adaptability to change, resilience and open-mindedness
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Self-motivated and can work independently or within a team.
  • Self-disciplined and self-managed
  • Needs to fit with our learning style - more of a self- study environment
  • Willingness to provide feedback to management
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and can accurately interpret prints.
  • Possess technical knowledge of commercial building design and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge base with advanced software (2D and 3D Autodesk products).
  • Basic understanding of scheduling software.
  • Experience with Autodesk Design and Construction software preferred.
