Crosby Group, a mid-sized Structural Design firm headquartered in Redwood City, CA, has immediate openings for experienced BIM Technicians in both its Redwood City and Sacramento Offices. As a vital addition to our team of engineers, the BIM staff creates high quality project documents for project phases from schematic design through construction administration. BIM Technicians work under the direction of a Project Engineer and the BIM Manager with primary focus being the development of construction documents. Projects include schools, commercial and institutional buildings, correctional facilities, and seismic retrofits of existing buildings utilizing concrete, masonry, steel and wood.
The successful candidates will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on large-scale projects, they must be team-oriented and meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year experience with Autodesk Revit Products, Revit Structure preferred.
- 3+ years of work experience in the architectural/structural design field.
- Understanding of parametric family creation and model sharing.
- Candidates should also possess good written and verbal communication skills.
