Structural Revit Designer - Iowa

Shoemaker & Haaland Professional Engineers has an immediate opportunity for a Structural Revit Designer in our Coralville, Iowa office.

Applicants should have either:

1. Two years of experience using Autodesk Revit to produce structural plans for the industrial sector...or...
2. Completed or be on pace to graduate in May 2014 with an Associate of Arts from an accredited Architectural Technology program.

The successful candidate will work well in a team environment and perform the following:

• Provide arrangements and layouts based upon historical documents, field measurements, and owner’s data.
• Collaborate with structural engineer to incorporate redlines and complete construction documents.
• Develop sections, elevations, and details independently.
• Review shop drawings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other office disciplines.
