- Serve as the firm’s “go-to” professional for providing solutions to our designers Revit family needs through successful content management.
- Develop and implement BIM-related content, templates and parameters as they relate to all stages of project delivery.
- Collaborate with other experts throughout the firm to identify and vet exemplar BIM content that can be shared and utilized across the firm.
- In collaboration with our Digital Practice and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team, participate in R&D to improve our designers’ and clients’ interaction with Revit and related technologies.
- Create and deliver ongoing training for our design professionals to properly use the firm’s digital content library to increase the quality and consistency of our project deliverables while developing a consistent approach for model content creation and curation.
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Though not required, a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science is a plus.
- Architectural registration preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with expert knowledge of Revit family creation is required.
- Familiarity with the overall BIM process and the knowledge management principles (taxonomy, content management, usability, process management, etc) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Ability to be successful in a highly collaborative environment, physically or remotely, is critical.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Portfolio, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite and other BIM-enabled technologies preferred.
