Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to understand expectations for computer aided design drawings according to the contract specifications, project budget, resources, scope and quality requirements. Typically reports to the CAD Production Manager.

What you’ll do:
Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to understand expectations for computer aided design drawings according to the contract specifications, project budget, resources, scope and quality requirements. Typically reports to the CAD Production Manager.
- Production of building plumbing and mechanical piping systems drawings and details using 3-D AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Attend coordination meetings to work with engineers and other trades to coordinate the project’s work.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and promote efficient and productive ACAD techniques within the planning department.
- At least 5 years experience producing quality drawings of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems.
- Strong proficiency in the use of 3-D AutoCAD and REVIT; prefer NavisWorks, CAD MEP and Sysque. Ability to visualize three-dimensional layouts from two-dimensional drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural and structural construction documents.
- Knowledge of piping layout and construction jargon.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Ability to use time productively, maximizing efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
- Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
