Job Summary:
The Metal Framing BIM Specialist is responsible for developing the BIM, shop drawings, details and spool sheets required for successful coordination, (pre)fabrication and installation of metal framing scope. - Will not accept candidates that do not have metal framing experience.

Job Summary:
The Metal Framing BIM Specialist is responsible for developing the BIM, shop drawings, details and spool sheets required for successful coordination, (pre)fabrication and installation of metal framing scope. - Will not accept candidates that do not have metal framing experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All Scope is related to metal framing:
- Review design drawings and models for constructability
- Model framing scope using MWF and Revit
- Coordinate framing model and drawings with adjacent scope leads (MEPs)
- Create details that consider design intent and support constructability
- Collaborate with project manager and field leads to capture installation strategies in drawings
- Create shop drawings
- Develop framing spool sheets
- Support the development of prefabrication strategies
- Develop library of prefabrication details and model
- Support field leads as needed during installation
- 5+ years of creating shop drawings, details and spool sheets for metal framing
- 0-2 years REVIT experience and/or Associates Degree or certification from a technical school
- Experience working with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Experience with Metal Wood Framer (MWF) preferred
- Installation experience of framing preferred
- Prefabrication experience preferred
- Experience with roll forming systems preferred
