Revit Job Captain - Toronto, ON

Mid-sized architectural firm known primarily for its specialty in educational and healthcare projects currently seeking a Job Captain to join the team. This position is best suited for a Senior Technologist with experience working on educational, healthcare or other institutional projects. If you’re a significant contributor at your current firm and you tend to take ownership of your work, this is your opportunity to move your career forward to a leadership role.

As a Job Captain you will be performing the following duties:
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee the production of project construction documents
  • Ensure quality standards, timelines and budget requirements are adhered to
  • Produce construction documents utilizing Revit
  • Organize, maintain and disseminate project information
  • Ensure changes and redlines are incorporated into construction documents

Your exceptional technical skills and attention to detail will ensure that you lead the production of construction documents to an accurate completion.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Job Captain or Senior Technologist role
  • Experience with institutional projects
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or and working knowledge of Revit
  • A commitment to team work

Senior Architect - Los Angeles

Senior Architect with at least 10 years plus experience in multi-family residential, mixed use, hotel and commercial/retail design, from pre-design to contract documents and permitting including all aspects of design development, code compliance, quality control and construction documentation / supervision. Cities where expertise preferred or required: Los Angeles City and County, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Santa Ana.

Advanced to expert in AutoCAD and REVIT required. Licensed and registered with Active & Good Standing to practice architecture in California. Architect will not only draw and assist in design development but stamp all drawings for company, for which company will carry general liability and errors and omissions insurance to cover. Architect must have a thorough understanding of current building and zoning codes to facilitate and expedite plan check and city planning entitlements. Architect will be required to complete tasks professionally, on time, and assist the company in successful completion of projects, goals and objectives.
