BIM Manager - Manhattan - RicciGreene Associates

RicciGreene Associates is a architectural planning and design firm located in mid-town Manhattan. They have an immediate opportunity for a BIM Manager. The BIM Manager will be responsible for implementing REVIT firm wide (multiple offices nationally), will play a significant role in the day-to-day management of standards, training and development of new processes for working in 3-D, to supplement the design and documentation process.

The BIM Manager’s Primary Responsibilities include: Developing BIM standards, establishing drawing templates, Managing BIM/Autocad Software packages, provide in-house technical assistance and training. BIM Manager will also be responsible for managing/administering project Buzzsaw web-sites.

Minimum Requirements

  • B./M.Arch or B.S. in Architecture, Engineering or similar Construction related discipline.
  • Experience with large institutional projects a plus.
  • 3 years minimum experience in a design technology role such as CAD/BIM Manager, CAD/BIM trainer or similar.
  • Revit Architecture, MEP, or Structural project experience and knowledge or very strong knowledge of other BIM tools.
  • Knowledge of Buzzsaw and/or other web-based project management tools.

BIM Manager - QPK Design - Syracuse, NY

QPK in Syracuse, NY is looking for a BIM Manager.

Summary:
An integral member of the model-based design process, the BIM Manager collaborates with architects, production specialists, partners, and the I.T. department to promote and facilitate a firm-wide workflow transition from a document-driven to building information modeling practice.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities include:
• Refine, develop & implement standards, training, and support practices
• Develop and maintain standards-based process documentation
• Provide team and over-the-shoulder training/coaching as needed
• Collaborate with consultants and clients to ensure efficient data sharing
• Design, generate and document custom BIM content, procedures, utilities and installs/deployments

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:
• Minimum two years of experience and technical proficiency with Revit Architecture
• Fundamental experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Architecture
• Knowledge of BIM/Management and Integrated Project Delivery concepts
• Good understanding of architectural project workflows (SD, DD, and CD phases) and project management
• Relevant technical/computing experience including concepts of programming, interoperability, and data exchanges strongly desirable
• Familiarity with design & visualization applications a plus (3DS Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Revit Structure a plus.

Education/ Experience:
Professional degree related to Architecture and/or Engineering or commensurate experience within the AEC industry

Architect with Revit Experience - Philadelphia Local

IPS in Philadelphia is looking for an architect who is local to the greater Philadelphia area and has been using Revit for a few years in practice. It's important that a candidate has not only architectural knowledge of design but must also have several completed projects using Revit behind them. Unfortunately we can't consider school projects.
