Position Summary
The Revit Specialist will provide hands on assistance to the Revit project teams as well promote the overall use and growth of Revit within Burt Hill.

Position Responsibilities
- Will assist project teams with managing project files
- Provide support and serve as a resource for project teams
- Assist and train Revit users
- Understanding of 3-D Modeling

Position Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
- 2+ years Revit Experience
- Strong design skills
- Have excellent written and oral communications skills to convey ideas and solutions to all levels of management and staff

- Passion for learning about new computer-aided design technology

BIM Manager - Burt Hill - PA

Burt Hill seeks an experienced practitioner-technologist to join our "BIM Team" as a dedicated IT employee working alongside professional architects, engineers, and visualization and information technology experts to achieve our firm-wide vision for integrated practice. The BIM Team partners with various expert "practice groups" around the firm, oversees the firm's aggressive transition from a document-driven to building information modeling workflow, and conducts research and development of new tools and techniques that bring value to our process.

Description
- Provide helpdesk support for BIM technologies primarily for our Pittsburgh location; secondarily to other Pennsylvania/Ohio offices. Additional travel may include other east coast and overseas offices
- Provide project-based ‘kick-off’ and ‘on-demand’ training/coaching as needed;
- Promote Burt Hill’s innovative best practices and methodologies within project teams by providing project audits and follow-up training
- Collaborate with other members of our Practice Technology Group to refine, develop & implement standards, training curriculums, and support practices across Burt Hill
- Help design and develop our best-in-class documentation & knowledge management resource
- Work closely with architectural, engineering, and energy analysis experts to develop industry leading practices that enable Burt Hill’s ‘integrated project delivery’ and ‘building lifecycle services
- Collaborate and coordinate with peer technology professionals in our Business and Core Technology groups
- Imagine, innovate, and implement alongside Practice Leaders across the firm in areas including Design, Energy/Performance Analysis, Sustainable Planning & Design, Visualization

Job Requirements
- Must have a pre-professional or professional degree related to Architecture and/or Engineering or commensurate experience within the AEC industry. Building design/construction experience a plus.
- Minimum of two years experience with Revit Architecture required; Revit MEP experience desirable.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling/Management and Integrated Project Delivery concepts a plus.
- Relevant technical/computing experience, including concepts of programming, interoperability, and data exchanges strongly desirable.
- Familiarity with design & visualization applications like SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, and InDesign desirable.
- As we transition from document-based to BIM-based workflows, familiarity with legacy applications such as AutoCAD or Microstation a plus.

CAD / REVIT Development Supervisor - Los Angeles

Introduction
Our client, a leader in the MEP Engineering and Consulting world, is seeking an experienced CAD Development Supervisor / REVIT Specialist for their Los Angeles office. You will be interacting with various project teams and serving as an integral part of the Design Technology team, supporting CAD production and standards and serving as a training and teaching resource.

Job Description
-Managing, training, and teaching REVIT to the engineering team.
-Duties will include drafting redlines, providing design assistance and managing CAD coordination on projects.
-Responsible for setting up drawings, ensuring quality, and managing the production of existing CAD staff and offering training when necessary.
-Manage relationships with external CADD/BIM system consultants and developing training materials and conducting REVIT training.
-Create upgrades and deployment strategies for REVIT.

Required Experience
-REVIT MEP experience and a REVIT expert.
-7+ years proficiency with AutoCAD (AutoCAD MEP 2008 and NavisWorks is a plus)
-Minimum of 3 years experience managing CADD/BIM systems.
-Above average troubleshooting skills, strong analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to interpret technical questions.
-IT related or helpdesk support knowledge is a big plus.
-Prior experience within an engineering firm is highly desired.
-Familiarity with one of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades is preferred.
-Experience as a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or fire protection Designer/Drafter is preferred.

BIM/Revit Technical Specialist - Dallas, TX

We are a software developer, a leading provider of Autodesk BSD (Architectural and MEP) solutions, Autodesk ISD (civil and geospatial) solutions, and an Autodesk Authorized Training Center. The Dallas, Texas office is seeking a BIM/Revit Technical Specialist that will be responsible for pre and post sales support, as well as implementation and training services focusing on Autodesk BIM/Revit solutions.

Responsibilities:

The BIM/Revit Technical Specialist will be responsible for:
Providing pre and post sales support in the form of standard and custom product demonstrations.
Providing high-level product presentations at seminars, workshops and client sites.
Performing classroom training, individualized training, and professional consulting to COINS BSD customers.
Providing skilled and dependable customer support.
Becoming an expert in using and instructing Autodesk's BSD products.
Working closely with management and sales staff to deliver software and service solutions in a timely manner.

Required Experience:

The chosen candidate should have:
Knowledge of one or more of the Autodesk Revit BSD products: Revit Architecture, Revit MEP and Revit Structure.
Strong organizational and time management skills (planning, managing priorities and follow through).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem solving and decision making ability.
The ability to effectively manage and maintain business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.
A solid understanding of the Windows environment, Internet and Microsoft Office.

A four year related degree is preferred.
