Well established Commercial/Theme Park specialty structural engineering firm in Orlando, Florida, is seeking experienced Revit designer.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Layout plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards working directly with engineers or project managers.
  • Coordinate with design team members
  • Communicate with design team/ clients and/or contractors regarding RFI’s and field questions
  • Work with tight deadlines
  • Provide assistance preparing proposals and required drafting fees
  • Maintain awareness of fees and drafting time, understand project scope and identify potential additional service items
  • Attend meetings for internal coordination
  • Attend general meetings
Skills and experience required:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience preparing Structural drawings
  • Revit 3D and AutoCAD Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, plan reading and the preparation of construction documents
  • Remain current with appropriate drafting software, technologies, and practices
  • MS Word and Excel proficiency
  • Strong math and geometry skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Structural CAD: 5 years

Revit Designer – Process Piping
Frisco, TX

We have an immediate opening for a Revit Piping Designer to work with our Facilities Science and Technology Process Piping team in Frisco, TX. In this role, you will provide production support for our Building Systems groups with a focus on Process Piping systems. Tasks include redline drafting; preparing detailed scaled design drawings for construction and graphic representations of Process Piping designs; making relevant views of buildings and construction details; and performing other tasks assigned by an engineering manager.

Specific Qualifications include:
  • Associates or Technical Degree
  • 3-5 years of CAD/BIM experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience in Navisworks, preferred
  • Revit or Autodesk Certification, preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Semiconductor Manufacturing building and piping design experience, preferred.
  • Process Systems design experience (gas, chemical, ultrapure water, wastewater systems), preferred.
  • General Mechanical and Plumbing Design experience, preferred.
  • Experience with point clouds/laser scanning, preferred

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Our client, Teasley Services Group, seeks a Senior Structural Designer to work with both internal and external clients and on projects that vary widely. The firm works on many types of structural solutions for clients and has a great reputation. This role will work as doer for the firm. A major part of the role will focus on working with varying projects and communicating design intent. Basic civil layout is often required for locating various structural components. The ideal candidate will be an experienced designer who knows the structural engineering world well, but still has knowledge of civil and architectural drafting practice.

Teasley Services Group, LLC is a Nashville, Tennessee based engineering consulting firm that specializes in structural and geotechnical related engineering services. The basis of TSG was founded in 1997. The desire to provide practical engineering solutions to many common A/E/C needs created the firm. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with a wide range of structural projects
  • Knowledge of many major CAD applications, Autocad, REVIT, Civil.
  • Ability to translate information from design software to CAD software, and to understand complex structural project issues

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:


Depending upon the skills and experiences of the individual we pursue, we are anticipating a base salary and bonus package that would be commensurate with a role of this nature. This role will also offer a solid benefit package including health and retirement benefits.
