Studio Revit Leader - Interior Architecture - Susan Marinello Interiors - Seattle - WA

Susan Marinello Interiors is a boutique interior design firm based in Seattle, Washington. Established in 1996, the award-winning firm provides complete interior design, furniture design and procurement for residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Since its inception, the firm has garnered acclaim for its signature approach to creating interiors as natural backdrops for the people occupying the space.

We have an immediate opening for a talented person who is passionate about BIM and high-quality design. As we are a small but mighty firm, looking for a Revit Guru who can help us transition from AutoCAD into Revit drawing production.

Overview
The role is to establish and maintain new office standards in Revit and will require production of all design and documentation phases as part of a project team. Responsibilities will also include coordination with drawings and or models from other design disciplines, quality control and document management for each design phase milestone. Our staff has some previous experience with Revit but this role will require the ability to provide technical support and training of staff members as we continue to grow our practice in Revit.

Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Graphics, Drafting or related degree or combination of education and experience, required
  • Expertise in Revit, required
  • Experience with Architecture or Interior Architecture, required
  • Ability to read and understand Architectural and Interior Design working drawings
  • Experience producing thorough, accurate, high-quality Construction Documents
  • Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions, required
  • AutoCAD experience, a plus
  • Revit or Autodesk Certification, preferred
  • Passion for processes, efficiency and standardization, a plus
  • Balance multiple deadlines and changing priorities with ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Focus on accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Effectively utilize time management skills, including organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization
  • Connect closely with project teams to understand projects and their needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative and organizational skills
  • Ability to document and prepare materials for training as needed to establish Revit standards and process
  • Positive attitude, organizational skills, and self-motivation
