You will be responsible for hands-on design of large-scale projects utilizing Revit MEP and other design/information tools, as a member of a collaborative and fast-moving project team. You will be a key to driving the efficient use and adoption of Revit on your projects. Drawing on a background in mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing engineering expertise, you will find solutions to project challenges.

The Revit MEP Engineer will be responsible for:

Conduct engineering design of large scale commercial, high technology, laboratory and/ or mission critical projects utilizing Revit MEP as the primary design tool that are responsive to project needs

Function as an advocate and team resource in respect to all aspects of Revit

Design electrical, mechanical and/or plumbing solutions within architectural design parameters and budget

Understand typical mechanical/ electrical/plumbing engineering principles used in design

Ensure application of appropriate building codes/ electrical codes/ mechanical codes

Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness

Work collaboratively with team members on design and in respect to utilizing/ coaching Revit

Remain productive and professional in the face of challenges in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

Avid user of Revit, passionate about learning and sharing computer-aided design technology
Experience integrating BIM and other technologies to facilitate design engineering
Integrated Project Delivery experience desired
Collaborative team member
Highly organized and self-disciplined, high degree of responsibility
Excellent problem solving skills
Efficient, with a high level of concentration
Strives for perfection

2-10 years of experience in engineering
Expertise in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing
Demonstrated experience utilizing Revit MEP
Appreciation for engineering as a design discipline
Strong understanding and preference for 3D design

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline desired
EIT or PE highly desired
