Essential Duties:
- Must comply with all company safety policies at all times
- Completes required subordinate evaluations and provide timely and appropriate feedback
- Create and enforce application standards and design principles
- Works with existing drawings from architects to make necessary revisions for projects
- Creates new drawing designs from concept
- Understands and builds 3-D/BIM models
- Facilitates or participates in BIM coordination meetings
- Oversee, identify, and recommend solutions through clash detection efforts
- Provides and creates detailed shop drawings for installations
- Build fabrication packages
- Create raw bill of material through fabrication take off
- When required, works with project manager on site visits measuring building layouts
- Work with estimators to assist on proposals and design/build projects
- Compile and produce closeout documents such as as-built drawings and O&M manuals
- Manage and recommend software programs and licenses
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Competence in Windows, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, SysQue For Revit, Quikpen Fabrication, Fabrication by EastCoast, CAD MEP Fabrication, Autodesk: AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit MEP
- Strong organizational, file and data management skills
- Good communication skills, including verbal and written
- Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature
- Performance of the job may require sitting, handling items and working with fingers to type, complete paperwork, and handle other administrative functions.
